Effective 3 September 2026
Operator: Tesla Cybercabs, independent publisher of teslacybercabs.com, reachable at hello@teslacybercabs.com. Not Tesla, Inc.
What we collect
If you submit the waitlist form: email (required), and any name, city, or interest you enter. We also store a timestamp and the page path. A hidden honeypot field is used only to drop bots.
Where it goes
- A POST to
/api/waitliston this host. The server forwards the lead to Web3Forms (or Formspree) using Vercel environment variables — not a client-side key. - Your browser may keep a localStorage backup copy. That cache is not a confirmation that we received your email.
- Optionally a mailto backup you choose to send to hello@teslacybercabs.com (Tesla Cybercabs / the site operator) if the form cannot save.
We do not sell personal information. If a form vendor is enabled, their privacy policy also applies to data they receive.
Cookies and ads
This site does not set an account cookie. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights scripts load from this host for visit and performance metrics (no waitlist PII). If the operator later fills GA_ID or ADSENSE_CLIENT in config.js, Google may set cookies per those products. Ad slots are empty placeholders until then.
Affiliate links
Amazon search links may include an Associates tag if AFFILIATE_TAG is set. Clicks on Amazon are governed by Amazon’s privacy policy.
Retention and requests
Browser cache stays on your device until you clear site data. To ask deletion of an email we received, email Tesla Cybercabs at hello@teslacybercabs.com from that address. We will not pretend we can erase Tesla’s own app waitlists — we do not control those.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. Robotaxi event reporting has described 21+ guest rules for at launch’s Tesla event; we do not collect age on our form.
